From the coast, we turn inland, following ancient paths into Bali's verdant interior. In Tabanan Regency, where emerald rice terraces cascade down volcanic slopes and village life moves to rhythms unchanged for generations, you'll discover what happens when you slow down enough to see truly. The air is different here—cooler, sweeter, alive with the sound of water flowing through subak irrigation channels that have sustained communities for a thousand years.

We climb higher into the mountains to mist-shrouded Munduk, where waterfalls hide in jungle folds and morning coffee tastes like the volcanic soil it grew from. Then onward to Kintamani's dramatic caldera, where you'll witness landscapes that remind you why mountains have always been considered sacred.
Our path leads east through the terraced valleys of Sidemen—a place so timelessly beautiful it feels like stepping into a living painting—before descending to Bali's wild black sand coast, where the island reveals an entirely different face. Nyepi, Bali's Day of Silence, falls on March 8, 2027. This extraordinary celebration sees the entire island—including the airport—shut down for 24 hours. Streets are empty, lights are extinguished, and Bali enters a state of profound stillness for meditation and renewal.
The night before Nyepi features spectacular Ogoh-Ogoh parades throughout the island, followed by a day unlike any other you'll experience. For those continuing with our Nyepi package, an extra two nights await to experience Bali's Day of Silence—when the entire island comes to a complete standstill. No sounds, no lights, no one ventures outside, and even the airport shuts down. It's a rare and magical chance to witness an entire island in meditation.
During this special time, our hotel, Titik Dua, as prepared a selection of gentle wellness activities, including morning yoga and a calming sound healing session. In the evening, guests are invited to enjoy a peaceful stargazing experience in the hotel grounds embracing the quiet and reflective spirit of Nyepi.
